Carmelite Carefree Village is an extension of the ministry of the Carmelite Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary, and as such, is committed to the spiritual well-being of each and every resident and staff member.

To that end, our beautiful and peaceful Sts. Joachim & Anne Chapel is always open for private prayer, reflection, and meditation. Services include The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and daily rosary.

First Fridays are highlighted by the monthly meeting of the "First Friday Club" where various religious issues are discussed, followed by the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the Chapel, and concluding with Solemn Benediction. Once a month Fr. Jay holds a Day of Recollection for those who wish to participate, during which a relevent spiritual topic is presented. The Anointing of the Sick is celebrated monthly, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation is available whenever requested.

Furthermore, Fr. Jay is on-duty for private consultation. Finally, for our non-Catholic residents, Protestant Services led by a local minister are also available.
